"Methods of working with children prone to emotional distress."
On January 18, 2024, the lyceum hosted a school-wide meeting on the topic "Methods of working with children prone to emotional distress." The meeting was attended by parents of grades 5-11. The meeting was opened by Oksana Nikolaevna Novikova, director of the lyceum, with an introductory speech and an update of the topic. Oksana Nikolaevna noted the statistics on the situation of autodestructive behavior of minors, as well as sexual integrity offenses against adolescents. Marina Andreevna Ponamareva, a teacher-psychologist, highlighted the following issues as part of the topic of the parent meeting: 1. Psychological features of adolescent development; 2. Behavioral reactions characteristic of adolescents; 3. Types of students' activities during the main school psychological periods; 4. Adverse childhood experiences (NDO); 5. Forms of suicidal behavior. Signs that signal a child's suicidal intent; 6. Supportive techniques in the upbringing of adolescents.At each stage, the teacher entered into an interactive conversation with the parents, in which the parents expressed their opinions and looked for the right ways to solve the problem.At the final stage of the meeting, parents were given recommendations on healthy interaction with adolescents, as well as possible ways to respond to the destructive behavior of adolescents.At the end of the meeting, the parents were offered a positive clip by the band "Dubro" with the song "You know, Mom..." The 66 parents present at the meeting have a total of 103 children. The Meeting adopted decisions:1. Parents should monitor social media content on an ongoing basis and identify those who are dangerous for teenagers with suicidal or illegal tendencies.2. Parents should pay attention to the appearance of various marks on the body in the form of scratches, cuts, etc.3. Parents should create a favorable positive environment in the family, spend time with teenagers, taking into account their interests. 4. The parents who participated in the meeting decided to review the methods of parenting in the family, more closely monitor changes in the behavior of students.5. Parents and classroom teachers present at the meeting should convey the main aspects and solutions to the parents of the classes.
